FROM PHILA AND SOUTH:
NJ Tpk to Exit 11 for Garden State Pkwy North. Pkwy North to Rte 3 West (Exit 153, a left exit)
Rte 3 West merges into Rte 46 West, follow directions below (I. TO TEMPLE)
OR (better!): Exit G.S. Pkwy at Exit 155P (a left exit) onto Rt.19. Rte 19 a few miles, exit to I-80 W (Delaware Water Gap). From I-80 West follow either set of directions (I. or II.) at bottom of page.
FROM NEW YORK CITY
Lincoln Tunnel to Rte 3 West to Rte 46 West, follow directions below (I. TO TEMPLE)
OR: GWBridge to Rte 80 West to Rte 23 North, follow directions below (I. TO TEMPLE)
or Exit I-80 at Squirrelwood Rd, follow directions (II. QUICK BACK ROUTE....)
FROM NEW ENGLAND AND ROCKLAND CTY
Tappan Zee Bridge (I-87 North = 287 South) to Rte 287 South in Mahwah
- Exit onto Rte 23 South in Riverdale. Stay on Rte. 23 S. for 4-5 miles to Alps Rd Exit
- Alps Rd up hill, right on Nellis (2nd traffic light, just past French Hill Rd)
- at T at end of Nellis, turn Left onto Valley Rd.
- right at next light onto Preakness Ave. (A&P on far right), go 0.7m to Temple Beth Tikvah on left.
FROM I-287 NORTHBOUND (central NJ):
after Exit to I-80 East, take Exit 53 to Rt.46 East
and continue as shown below
FROM SCRANTON, POINTS WEST:
I-80 East into NJ, Exit 53 To Rte 46 East, “Wayne/Clifton/Lincoln Tunnel/Rte3”.
Get over to the right quickly! Exit from Rt 46 at Riverview Drive/Wayne, just past underpass.
Right at end of exit ramp onto Riverview Drive. Go about 2 m. on Riverview, just past golf course and Welcome to Wayne sign turn right onto Valley Rd.
Right at traffic light on Preakness Ave. (A&P on far right). O.7 mile on Preakness Ave, Temple Beth Tikvah is on the left.
I. TO TEMPLE
- Rte 46 West or I-80 West to Rte 23 North
- just after entering Rte 23 North, take exit to West Belt (eastbound)
- at light at T at end of West Belt, turn left (Riverview Drive). Stay in right lane
- go about 50 feet on Riverview Dr., past golf course & Welcome to Wayne sign,
- Right turn onto Valley Rd.
- right at light on Preakness Ave, (A&P on far right corner), go 0.7 miles to TBT on the left
II. QUICK BACK ROUTE TO TBT FROM I-80 WESTBOUND
- Exit at Squirrelwood Road, just west of downtown Paterson
- at end of exit ramp turn right
- at first intersection turn left onto Glover St.
- go straight at light, cross bridge, turn right at T junction. This becomes Totowa Blvd.
- left on Preakness Ave, at light. JFK High School will be on your right.
- straight on Preakness Ave. Over hill, Temple is on your right on the downhill side (don’t speed!)
